TrainsNews covers global rail news every day, in English and French. To keep that pace, we use artificial intelligence. Here is how.
1. Official sources, always cited
Every story starts from a primary source: government, infrastructure manager, operator, manufacturer or tender notice. The source is cited and linked in the story. We do not copy other media outlets.
2. AI drafts, a human is accountable
AI helps us draft stories, summaries and social media posts. Every story is reviewed before publication by the editorial team, which checks figures, dates and names and takes responsibility for it.
3. An engineer's view
Technical analysis (signalling, ERTMS, CBTC, rolling stock) is validated by a railway signalling engineer.
4. Real, credited photos
Since 15 October 2026, our stories are illustrated with official press photos or freely licensed photos (Wikimedia Commons), with the author and licence under each photo. We no longer use AI-generated images.
5. Errors are corrected
Spotted an error? Email contact@trainsnews.com. We correct quickly and note the correction at the end of the story.
6. Your data
We do not share readers' personal data with AI tools.
Systematic human review before publication since 15 October 2026. Last updated: 15 October 2026.
