Adif, the Spanish railway infrastructure manager, has awarded a contract worth approximately €6 million to launch the first phase of a revolutionary pilot project. This initiative focuses on the Future Railway Mobile Communication System (FRMCS) and the Adaptable Communication System (ACS).
This pilot project constitutes a key element of the broader FP 2-R2DATO project, one of six "flagship" first-generation projects under Europe's Rail Joint Undertaking (ERJU), of which Adif is a founding member.
